Invitation Wording

The wording on your invitation lets your guests know many details about your wedding, not only in the actual time and location, but the wording choice also tells them how formal your wedding will be. If you'd like to discuss your invitation wording further, I'm more than happy to advise you. Treat this section as a good starting point, which we can tweak once the first proof is sent. Feel free to refer to the invitation etiquette guide and I can also advise you on traditional etiquette, which depends on a variety of factors, such as who is hosting your wedding and the usage of proper titles.

Enclosures & RSVP

The standard enclosures are a response card and a details card. The response card is where you'll include a line for the guest's names and attendance. You may also need to include a line for responding to other events, such as brunch or welcome parties. If you need to include food options, please let me know that below. The details card is a bit more flexible. Ideas of things to include on the details card are reception information (if it's at a different location than the wedding), hotel accommodations, and/or your wedding website.
